Utah County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 6

SALT LAKE CITY—The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep boys’ and girls’ basketball players in Utah County. Sponsored by Mr. Mac, it honors athletes for their on-court performances and exceptional play. Our winners for week six were Provo’s Makai Allen and Sutton Villa.
Utah County Players of the Week
The Bulldogs pulled off a POTW clean sweep, becoming the first school to earn both honors in the same week.
Allen averaged 30 points per game in two tough losses for Provo.
Villa had two double-doubles, helping her team to a 1-1 week.
Player of the Week Selection
The selection committee for the Mr. Mac Utah County Basketball Players of the Week consists of Jeremiah Jensen and Sam Farnsworth from KSL Sports Live, Dane Stewart from KSL Sports Rewind, and Jake Hatch.
