Utah County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 3

SALT LAKE CITY—The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep boys’ and girls’ basketball players in Utah County. Sponsored by Mr. Mac, it honors athletes for their on-court performances and exceptional play. Our winners for week three were Pleasant Grove’s Brennan Blackett and Lehi’s McKenzie Jepson.
Utah County Players of the Week
Blackett helped lead the Vikings to back-to-back wins. He scored 10 points and added seven rebounds in a win over Cedar Valley. The 6’6 combo guard poured in 22 points to lift his team past Riverton.
Jepson averaged better than 16 points per game while piloting the Pioneers to a trio of wins. She finished the week with two double-doubles.
