BYU Basketball Availability Report Against No. 1 Arizona

PROVO, Utah – BYU basketball is gearing up to host No. 1 Arizona at the Marriott Center tonight.

The Cougars could be without one of their starters as they get set to face the 20-0 Wildcats.

Kennard Davis is a game time decision against Arizona

BYU guard Kennard Davis Jr. is listed as a game-time decision. Davis played a season-low 11 minutes in BYU’s win over Utah on Saturday at the Marriott Center.

Last night, on the initial mandatory Big 12 availability report, Davis was listed as questionable.

A former Southern Illinois transfer, Davis is averaging 6.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists this season for BYU.

Davis has started in all 16 games he has played in this season.

On the Arizona side of the availability report, the Wildcats had no players to list.

BYU is seeking its first-ever win over a No. 1-ranked team at the Marriott Center, and only the program’s second victory ever against the nation’s top-ranked team.

Tip-off for BYU versus Arizona is at 7 p.m. on ESPN and KSL NewsRadio.

BYU enters the game with a 17-2 overall record and a 5-1 mark in Big 12 play. In the Kevin Young era, BYU has only lost two home games; one of those setbacks was against the Arizona Wildcats last season.

BYU is currently on a 13-game home winning streak.
