RALEIGH, N.C. — The Utah Mammoth conceded three goals in the third period as the Carolina Hurricanes made a full comeback to win 5-4 on Thursday.
Carolina started off with the first goal of the game, but then the Mammoth stampeded in the second with three straight. Heading into the final period, Utah led 3-2. That lead quickly jumped to 4-2 as Michael Carcone started the third off with a bang.
Carolina answered with three goals in less than 90 seconds of game time to steal the win at home.
After ending their road trip with a 2-2 record, Utah will return home for six straight at the Delta Center.
