Utah County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 9 – Sage Yenchik & Crew Fotheringham

SALT LAKE CITY – The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep boy’s and girl’s basketball players in Utah County. Sponsored by Mr. Mac, it honors athletes for their performances on the court and exceptional play. Our winners for week one were Sage Yenchik from Provo High School and Crew Fotheringham from Lone Peak High School.

Utah County Players of the Week – Sage Yenchik & Crew Fotheringham

Sage Yenchik was the force behind the Provo Bulldogs pair of wins last week. In their blowout victory over Orem High School, she tallied 17 points, six assists, two rebounds, two steals and two blocks. She then tallied 18 points, 10 assists, six steals and three rebounds in a road win at Timpanogos.

Crew Fotheringham was a scoring machine in both victories for the Lone Peak Knights last week. In their win at Syracuse he made six three-pointers while scoring 24 points. He then tacked on another 21 points in a win at Corner Canyon.
