Salt Lake County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 9 – Jessica Maynard & Luke West

SALT LAKE CITY – The Hercules Salt Lake County High School Player of the Week is celebrating the best high school basketball players in Salt Lake County. Presented by Hercules First Federal Credit Union, each week we honor athletes for their exceptional performance on the hardwood. Our winners this week were Jessica Maynard from Mountain Ridge High School and Luke West from Bingham High School.

Salt Lake County Players of the Week – Jessica Maynard & Luke West

Maynard was the engine behind both of Mountain Ridge’s victories last week. In their win over Riverton, she racked up a double-double with 21 points & 11 rebounds to go along with two steals and one assist. She followed it up with 23 points in a win over Herriman.

Luke West powered the Bingham Miners to a pair of wins last week. In a win over Herriman, he tallied 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals. He followed it up with 27 points in a victory over Copper Hills.
