DALLAS — The Utah Mammoth bounced back in a big way to blow out the Dallas Stars in enemy territory on Monday.
For the ninth time this year, Utah reached the six-goal scored mark as they picked up win No. 35 with a month left in the NHL’s regular season.
Let’s take a look abck at each time the Mammoth lit the lamp at American Airlines Arena.

After a somewhat dreary first 12 minutes, the captain got the team started with a tough shot from a ridiculous angle at the bottom of the left faceoff circle.
The goal was Clayton Keller’s 20th of the season, and his first since March 5 against Philadelphia.

Contrary to the first, the Mammoth would be first to get on the board in the second period before the Stars ultimately tied it up.
This time, it was Nate Schmidt, also from the left side of the ice, to find the back of the net for Utah.

The third period was living proof that when it rains, it pours.
It started with a pseudo-shootout goal from Jack McBain.

Less than four minutes later, the Mammoth were back at it.
Set up by Alexander Kerfoot, Kailer Yamamoto made the Dallas goaltender think he was going left before pulling it back to the right to double Utah’s lead.

Then, on a power play late in the period, Utah would put the nail in the coffin.
JJ Peterka and Michael Carcone turned defense into offense, and Carcone sealed the deal from close range.

And an empty-netter from Lawson Crouse served as the cherry on top of a sweet, sweet victory.
Also of note, no Mammoth player had more than a point in Dallas. Every goal was scored and assisted by someone who hadn’t previously gotten into the box scorte.
