Fabulous Utah State freshmen reportedly entering NCAA transfer portal

LOGAN, Utah – On the same day Utah State basketball announced the return of redshirt freshman Kingston Tosi, the Aggies learned Adlan Elamin and Elijah Perryman are expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
247sports.com lists the freshman duo alongside David Iweze, who redshirted in 2025-26, as the only USU players currently in the transfer portal.

Elamin started 28 of the 35 games he played. Perryman saw action in 36 games.

He cracked the starting rotation early in the season and averaged 6.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in less than 20 minutes a night.
Elamin flashed brilliance all year, but became a difference maker in the Mountain West postseason tournament and two NCAA tournament games.

His length, athleticism, and leaping ability were on display in USU’s first-round win over Villanova.
He finished the game with 13 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Elamin’s wing span was on full display in a loss to Arizona when he blocked three shots.
About Elijah Perryman
A 6’2″ dynamic point guard, Elijah Perryman signed with Utah State after averaging 15.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.4 steals per game across 77 varsity games at Clayton Valley Charter High School.
He was considered the 29th point guard in the 2025 class and the 25th overall prospect in California by 247Sports.

Perryman played in all 36 games while developing into a trusted option off of Jerrod Calhoun’s bench.
He averaged 4.4 points and 3.1 assists while shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 29.6 percent from deep.
