Utah State’s Tucker Anderson finds new home in NCAA transfer portal

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State wing Tucker Anderson is heading back to Central Arkansas after entering the transfer portal, ending a two-year run in Logan.
The 15-day NCAA transfer portal officially opened on Tuesday, April 7.

Tucker Anderson returns to Central Arkansas
The 6’9″ forward was recruited by Jerrod Calhoun’s staff, signing with the Aggies in the 2024 transfer portal.
He chose USU after being named the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) 2023-24 Freshman of the Year.
Anderson averaged 14.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in nearly 31 minutes a night with the Bears.
Tucker goes back home to where he started at Central Arkansas.

His playing time decreased to fewer than 17 minutes per game under Calhoun as a sophomore.
The Centerton, Arkansas, native averaged 5.7 points and 2 rebounds while forever etching his name in Utah State lore in his first season as an Aggie.
Anderson drilled four three-point shots, including the game-winner in the final seconds, and lifted the Aggies to an upset road win over San Diego State.

His role was reduced even further as a junior.
Anderson averaged 3.4 points on 36 percent three-point shooting while playing 25 games in 2025-26.
David Iweze reportedly follows Jerrod Clahoun to Cincinnati in the transfer portal
The Roanoke, Texas, native redshirted under Calhoun as a freshman.

Iweze averaged 11.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game as a senior for iSchool Entrepreneurial Academy.
He was rated the No. 18 prospect in Texas and the 35th best center overall in the class by 247Sports.com.
