LOGAN, Utah – Ben Jacobson and the Utah State Aggies added several new players this week, signing Snow College transfer Sean Felts and incoming freshman Jordan Boyd.

USU landed the 6’11” Snow College Badgers center and 6’4″ guard on Wednesday, April 15.

Jacobson and Co. kept the momentum going with the addition of 6’4″ guard Jax Allen, the brother of recently graduated Aggie PG Drake Allen, on Thursday, April 16.

Who is former Snow College center Sean Felts?

A St. George, Utah native, Sean Felts prepped at Crimson Cliffs High School. He earned Utah 4A second team All-State recognition as a senior after averaging 20.5 points and 7.2 rebounds.

Snow College went 32-2 with Felts averaging 5.1 points and 3.6 rebounds as a freshman. Those numbers grew to 12.6 points and 6.7 rebounds while making 58.9 percent (185-of-314) from the floor and drilling 42.4 percent of his three-point attempts.

Felts started 21 games as a sophomore while helping lead the Badgers to the second round of the NJCAA national tournament.

Who is guard Jordan Boyd?

The 6’4″ Jordan Boyd was named the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year as a senior, and finished his prep career as a two-time all-state and all-district selection.

He earned two state championships with De Smet Jesuit High School in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2024 and 2026.

Boyd averaged 15.1 points and 6.7 rebounds while helping pilot De Smet Jesuit to a title as a senior. He finished his high school career with 1,114 points and 551 rebounds.

De Smet Jesuit went a combined 75-14 in three prep seasons.

Who is guard Jax Allen?

Jax Allen graduated from Orem High School in 2024 before serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

A four-year letterwinner with the Tigers, Allen was a two-time Utah 5A All-State selection.

He averaged 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.5 steals per contest, while helping the Tigers to a 21-4 record and a Region 7 title as a senior.

Allen averaged 14.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game in his junior year.
