SALT LAKE CITY – With the NHL playoffs coming to the Beehive State for the first time, Utah Mammoth owner Ryan Smith is trying to lure a few new fans into Mammoth blue and white.

Two games into the franchise’s first playoff appearance, Smith is capitalizing on local interest with an unprecedented jersey exchange at the Delta Center.

“For any Golden Knights fans still left in Utah, come swap your VGK hersey for a new Utah Mammoth jersey on Friday at Noon, at Delta Center,” Smith wrote on X. “Utah shows up!”

“A huge thanks to Fanatics for helping us make our first Utah Mammoth jersey exchange possible,” said Ryan and Ashley Smith, owners of the Utah Mammoth. “It’s been incredible to see the way Utah has embraced this team from day one.”

The Hat Trick: Guenther, Cooley shine as Mammoth steal Game 2 against Vegas Golden Knights

The Mammoth return to the Delta Center after winning game two of its Stanley Cup Playoffs first-round series against Vegas in thrilling fashion.

Logan Cooley scored twice, including the game-winner, in a 3-2 victory that evens the series 1-1 as the teams return to Salt Lake for game three on Friday night.

How to participate in the first-of-its-kind Mammoth jersey exchange

The jersey exchange follows a model similar to that used by the NBA’s Utah Jazz during the 2025-26 season.

Fans are invited to the first-come, first-served jersey exchange on the Seat Geek Plaza outside of Delta Center at Noon MT on Friday, April 24.

To participate, should bring any official Vegas Golden Knights jersey to the arena plaza to be exchanged for a blank home Utah Mammoth jersey. A variety of adult and youth sizes will be offered, and are subject to availability, and fans will have the chance to swap one (1) Golden Knights jersey per person. This offer is limited to jerseys only and will be available while supplies last.
