BYU football unveils uniform combination for opener against Utah Tech

PROVO – BYU football changed how it unveils uniforms for the 2026 season.

For the past two years, they have released all 12 uniform combinations before the season kicks off. This year, it appears they’re taking a weekly approach.

On Monday, BYU football released its uniform combination for Saturday’s game against Utah Tech.

The 14th-ranked Cougars will wear an all-royal-blue helmet, royal-blue uniform, and white pants.

It will be the first time BYU has worn this uniform combination in the Big 12 era. The last time BYU donned this combination was in 2022 against in-state foe Utah State. BYU won that game 38-26.
