BYU unveils uniform combo for Big 12 opener against Arizona

PROVO – BYU football gets set for its Big 12 Conference opener this Saturday at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
The Cougars will host the Arizona Wildcats and wear a new uniform combination.
Well, a slight tweak, if you follow uniform combinations closely.

BYU will wear an all-white helmet and facemask with a royal blue stretch Y on the lid, along with a royal blue uniform and pants. Since BYU rolled out the white facemask against Boise State in 2022, they have not worn this specific combination.
BYU wore the helmet the past three seasons at home against Oklahoma (2023), Oklahoma State (2024), and Stanford (2025), but in each of those games they donned white pants.

BYU-Arizona is a highly anticipated matchup to kick off league play. The Cougars have won five straight in the series against the Wildcats, including the past two years as Big 12 foes.
