As the Delta Center undergoes a makeover, Smith Entertainment Group’s plan to redevelop a three-block area in the city center for a sports, entertainment, culture and convention district has not begun in earnest, at least not physically. The project includes reconfiguring the arena entrance to face east, pedestrian plazas, a residential tower, a hotel, and retail and restaurant space. Along with eight new food vendors, the renovations add more than 1,500 full-view seats for Mammoth games, terrace-style seating, two Sky Lounges and new seats in the rebuilt north-end sections.

There are now 18 Utah restaurants in the arena after eight new options were added this offseason.
The new vendors are Apollo Burger, Brucie’s Berries, Cafe Rio, Chomp Donuts & Coffee, Dangerous Pretzels, Jurassic Taco, Marley’s Burgers, and R&R BBQ.
TeamSEG also announced that fans can purchase a Jazz or Mammoth HydroJug at the team store. These tumblers can get $3 soda refills at every game, all season. The tumbler costs $59.99.
The press release from SEG also dove into two rewards programs for local sports fans.
The Moxie College Ticket Program offers $25 tickets to Utah university students that come with exclusive access to the Moxie College Club on Level 6.
For those who consistently go to Jazz and Mammoth games, a new rewards program opens on October 1. Fans can redeem points on each team’s app that can lead to deals on purchases, experiences, and memorabilia. Points are earned by attending games, events, or even streaming and engaging with team content.
The Smith’s Value Ticket program will also return this season.
The Delta Center opens its doors to the public this weekend.
