Utah County High School Player of the Week – Week 10 – Dennis Tua’one

SALT LAKE CITY – The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep football players in Utah County. It honors athletes for their performances on the gridiron and exceptional play. Our winner this week was Timpview High School wide receiver Dennis Tua’one.

Utah County Player of the Week – Dennis Tua’one, Timpview

The Timpview Thunderbirds welcomed Spanish Fork High School in for senior night last Friday, looking to finish the regular season on a positive note and build momentum entering the playoffs. After a scoreless first quarter for both teams, Tua’one opened the scoring with a 78-yard touchdown pass from Cole Engemann and it opened the floodgates for Timpview’s offense. They went on to add another touchdown late in the second quarter and held a 13-7 lead at the half thanks to a late touchdown for the Dons.

Timpview emerged from the locker room with a vengeance as they shut out Spanish Fork in the final 24 minutes while adding an additional 20 points in the eventual 34-7 victory. Tua’one, a four-star prospect in the 2028 recruiting class, stood out thanks to his 10 receptions for 247 yards and one touchdown in the win.
