SALT LAKE CITY – The hard part is over for Team USA manager Mark DeRosa, who finalized his roster for the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

After overseeing the selection process and narrowing down a massive talent pool, the former MLB journeyman just has to let some of baseball’s best talent on the planet do their thing on the world stage.

2025 Cy Young Award-winning pitcher Tarik Skubal (AL) and Paul Skenes (NL) highlight a pitching staff deep in starters and bullpen talent.

Three-time AL MVP Aaron Judge captains a slugging lineup, while emerging stars like Bobby Witt Jr., Gunnar Henderson, and Pete Crow-Armstrong provide speed and athleticism.

Team USA is scheduled to open pool play against Brazil on Friday, March 6, at Daikin Park, home of the Houston Astros.

DeRosa’s squad enters 2026 looking to even the score after a 2023 WBC Finals loss to Shohei Ohtani and three-time champion Japan.
