Big 12 Baseball Tournament bracket, schedule released for 2026 season

Big 12 baseball turns to the postseason with the annual conference tournament.

For the 2026 season, the Big 12 Baseball Tournament moves to Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona, the spring training home of the MLB’s Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers.

The Big 12 Tournament was previously held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

The Big 12 Baseball Tournament is a single-elimination, 12-team field that begins on Tuesday, May 19 and runs until Saturday, May 23.

Kansas earned the No. 1 overall seed after winning an outright conference championship for the first time since 1949. The Jayhawks finished with a 22-8 record in Big 12 play.

Kansas will have a bye until the Quarterfinals round, along with the top six seeds in the field. Those other double-bye teams include West Virginia, Arizona State, UCF, Oklahoma State, and Cincinnati.

Both BYU and Utah will begin their pursuits of an automatic NCAA Tournament bid in the first round on Tuesday, May 19.

BYU finished the season with a 14-16 Big 12 record and a 27-27 mark overall.

Utah was 12-18 in the Big 12 and 24-26 overall.
