Big 12 announces team schedule for 2026 Football Media Days

It’s hard to imagine, but in less than three months, Big 12 football unofficially kicks off.
That’s when the annual media days take place.
The two-day event will once again be held at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, on Tuesday, July 7, and Wednesday, July 8.
Big 12 Media Days moved to The Star, which is the practice home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, last year. It will be the fourth season with BYU in the Big 12, and the third for Utah.
Both BYU and Utah have high expectations entering the 2026 season.
The Cougars are riding high after a 12-2 campaign that included an appearance in the Big 12 Championship Game. Utah kicks off the Morgan Scalley era after Kyle Whittingham left to take the Michigan Wolverines job, following an 11-2 season last fall with the Utes.
On Wednesday, the league announced the team schedule for when each of the 16 teams would go through the media circuit in Frisco.
For the third consecutive year, BYU and Utah are on separate days. BYU will go through the Media Day setups on Tuesday, July 7, along with the likes of reigning Big 12 Champion Texas Tech, who the Cougars lost to in the Big 12 Championship Game last year.
Utah will then take center stage on Wednesday, July 8.
Along with the head coaches, each program brings players to speak to the media.
