BYU football’s Bear and Tiger Bachmeier take the stage for first-ever concert

AMERICAN FORK – BYU football brothers Bear and Tiger Bachmeier took the stage for a concert as “Music Bachs” for the first time.
The star brothers performed a free concert at the Harrington Center for the Arts in American Fork. It was part of the Harrington Center’s “American Fork Concerts in the Park” summer series on Monday nights.

Bear and Tiger were on stage with their uncle, Don, who is from Minnesota.

They performed covers of country and rock songs throughout the concert, while also playing on the guitar.
During Bear and Tiger’s first season at BYU, they often performed at a senior-citizen home in Provo with their uncle. One of the visits occurred a day after leading BYU to a victory over rival Utah last October.
BYU football head coach Kalani Sitake was in attendance to support his players. Sitake made his way to the stage for the final performance of the show, where Bear, Tiger, and Uncle Don joined the crowd in a singing of the BYU fight song, “Rise & Shout.”

Many of Bear and Tiger’s BYU teammates also took the stage during the performance, including star running back LJ Martin, whom Uncle Don called “the best running back in America.”
Other players included star center Bruce Mitchell, Siosefa Brown, Crew Clark, Jovesa Damuni, Joseph Douglas, Siale Esera, Reggie Frischknecht, Sione Moa, Keayan Nead, Ethan Thomason, Vincent Tautua, and Payton VanSteenkiste.
