PROVO — BYU football is bringing back a uniform combination that was a 21st-century staple.
When BYU takes on Iowa State this Friday night, it will wear a navy blue uniform with white pants and a white helmet.

What was once a weekly fixture for BYU at home games hasn’t been worn in five years. Friday night will be the first time BYU has worn this combination since a home matchup against USF in 2021.
Former coach Bronco Mendenhall introduced this uniform combination to BYU’s identity in 2005.
According to BYU Uniform Tracker, BYU football has a 63-14 all-time record wearing this uniform combination.
