PROVO — For the first time since 2009, ESPN College GameDay will visit Provo.
On Saturday afternoon, after Notre Dame’s blowout victory over Stanford, ESPN made it official: they’re coming to Provo for the top-10 clash between BYU football and Notre Dame.
The three-hour program takes place from 7 to 10 a.m. (MT) and will be televised on ESPN.

ESPN College GameDay visits Provo for the first time since 2009
BYU said the “specific on-campus location will be announced later.” That’s noteworthy, as BYU has typically held national pregame shows in the West parking lot of LaVell Edwards Stadium. That’s where College GameDay was located when the show was in Provo in 2009.
BYU is 0-4 all-time in games where College GameDay has been held. Those games include 2004 Utah, 2009 TCU (Provo), 2020 Coastal Carolina, and 2025 Texas Tech.
Notre Dame will be traveling to Provo for the first time since 2004. It’s the last time BYU defeated the Irish in the all-time series between the two faith-based programs.
BYU enters the matchup at 5-0 overall, while Notre Dame is at 6-0.

Notre Dame leads the all-time series between the programs, 7-2. The Irish are making only their third-ever visit to LaVell Edwards Stadium.
ESPN College GameDay is hosted by Rece Davis alongside analysts Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, and Kirk Herbstreit.
