SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Mammoth wouldn’t be stopped on Tuesday night, battling back from a 3-1 first-period deficit to earn a 6-5 OT win.

The Mammoth (41-30-6, 88 points) is hosting Edmonton (39-29-10, 88 points) at the Delta Center on Tuesday, April 7.

Edmonton opened the day tied with Anaheim atop the Pacific Division. Utah maintains the top wild-card spot in the Western Conference, three points ahead of the Los Angeles Kings.

Utah hopes the third time is the charm as it seeks its first win against Edmonton this season.

The Oilers have outscored Utah 11-5 in two meetings this year. Connor McDavid scored the game-winner, his fourth of the season series, in a 5-2 win at Delta Center in late March.

Utah is 19-14-3 at home, while the Oilers are 18-15-5 on the road.
