SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Mammoth ended the calendar year with a tough 4-3 loss to the Nashville Predators at Delta Center on Monday.
Utah’s fate was sealed in the final period as Steven Samkos lit the lamp twice in less than two minutes, moving the Predators from down one to up one.
Dylan Guenther, JJ Peterka, and Mikhail Sergachev all found the back of the net for the Mammoth.
Utah will have two days off before returning to action in the new year on Thursday.
