DETROIT – The Utah Hockey Club did it all on both ends in a huge road win over the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena on Thursday.

Despite allowing Detroit to take almost twice as many shots, Utah was calculated and timely with its opportunities. Goaltender Karel Vejmelka had an elite game, saving 37 of the Red Wings’ 39 attempts.

Dylan Guenther, Nick Schmaltz, Kevin Stenlund, and Lawson Crouse each scored a goal in the 4-2 win.

The Utah Hockey Club will stay on the road for its next match against the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday, March 7. Detroit and Utah will play their final game of the season later this month in Salt Lake City.
