SALT LAKE CITY – Just 24 hours before the complete 2026-27 regular season schedule drops, the Utah Mammoth announced on Wednesday that they will host the Chicago Blackhawks in their home opener on October 1.
For the second time over their first three seasons of existence, the Utah Mammoth will welcome the Chicago Blackhawks to the Delta Center for their 2026-27 home opener.

After defeating the Chicago 5-2 in their inaugural home opener back in 2024, the Hawks will return to Salt Lake City on October 1, 2026, to face the Mammoth at 7 pm MT.
Overall, Utah is 2-0-0 all-time in home openers, also defeating the Calgary Flames to begin the 2025-26 campaign on home ice.
The Mammoth’s complete 2026-27 regular season schedule will be announced on Thursday at 11 A.M. MT.
