Was BYU exposed at UCF, or is it a blip on the path to a Big 12 title? + Breakfast club at Rice-Eccles

BYU was ranked No. 2 for the first time in program history, and it lost its first game of 2026 in Orlando. UCF (4-3) earned its first win over a top-five team ever, and Knights fans stormed the field. KSL Sports BYU Insider Mitch Harper shared his closing thoughts on the loss as the Cougars look to bounce back after their first setback of the season. BYU fell six spots to No. 8 in Sunday's AP poll. Ohio State moved up to No. 2 behind Miami, and Georgia, Indiana and Notre Dame round out the top five. The Big 12 announced Monday that No. 8 BYU at No. 6 Utah on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Rice-Eccles Stadium will kick off at 10 a.m. MT on ABC or ESPN. The network will be chosen after the Oct. 31 games. It's the first 10 a.m. kickoff in the rivalry since 1996. It's also the first time BYU and Utah will meet with both teams ranked in the AP top-10.
