SALT LAKE CITY – The Hercules Salt Lake County High School Player of the Week is celebrating the best high school basketball players in Salt Lake County. Presented by Hercules First Federal Credit Union, each week we honor athletes for their exceptional performance on the hardwood. Our winners this week were Kylee Falatea from West High School & Gavin Lowe from Olympus High School.
Salt Lake County Players of the Week – Kylee Falatea & Gavin Lowe
Kylee Falatea, who was a winner earlier in the season, had a monster week for the West Panthers. She racked up 46 points, 11 steals, 10 rebounds, eight rebounds and one block in a rout at Kearns. She followed it up with 31 points, 11 steals, 10 assists, and seven rebounds in a blowout at Cyprus.
Gavin Lowe was the steady force for the Olympus Titans as he has been for years. He racked up 23 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists in a win at Viewmont. He then added 23 points, six assists, four rebounds, three steals and one block in a victory over Alta.
