Salt Lake County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 4 – Kylee Falatea & Deng Deng

SALT LAKE CITY – The Hercules Salt Lake County High School Player of the Week is celebrating the best high school basketball players in Salt Lake County. Presented by Hercules First Federal Credit Union, each week we honor athletes for their exceptional performance on the hardwood. Our winners were were Kylee Falatea from West High School and Deng Deng from Juan Diego Catholic High School.

Salt Lake County Players of the Week – Kylee Falatea & Deng Deng

Kyle Falatea and the West Panthers picked up a pair of victories as they continued their perfect in-state start to the season. In an 80-29 rout of Herriman, she tallied 27 points, 10 assists and five steals before adding 19 points, seven assists and five steals in a 53-50 road win at Clearfield.

Deng Deng was a force as he powered the Juan Diego Soaring Eagle to a pair of wins. In a 60-47 road win at Murray, he had a near triple-double with 19 points, 14 rebounds and nine blocks. He followed that up with 27 points and 16 rebounds in a 64-54 victory at West.
