SALT LAKE CITY – The Hercules Salt Lake County High School Player of the Week is celebrating the best high school basketball players in Salt Lake County. Presented by Hercules First Federal Credit Union, each week we honor athletes for their exceptional performance on the hardwood. Our winners this week were Manamanya Ocwor from APA West Valley and Carlo Mulford from Herriman High School.
Salt Lake County Players of the Week – Manamanya Ocwor & Carlo Mulford
Manamanya Ocwor was the engine that propeled the Eagles to a pair of wins last week. In a 47-8 road rout of Real Salt Lake Academy, she scored 15 points. She then went off for 37 points as they demolished Utah Milirary Academy Camp Williams 59-12.
Carlo Mulford was a force for the Mustangs as they tallied a pair of wins last week. In a 67-66 road upset of previously unbeaten Westlake, he tallied 28 points. He followed that showing up with 18 points in a 71-55 win at Cedar Valley.
