Utah County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 8

SALT LAKE CITY—The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep boys’ and girls’ basketball players in Utah County. Sponsored by Mr. Mac, it honors athletes for their on-court performances and exceptional play. Our winners for week eight were Pleasant Grove’s Ty Palmer and Merceius Mili from Skyridge.
Utah County Players of the Week
Palmer helped the Vikings to a 1-1 week with 21 points against Skyridge and 22 points versus Lehi.
The Falcons won two games thanks to 20 points per game from Mili. Skyridge downed Pleasant Grove and American Fork.
Player of the Week Selection
The selection committee for the Mr. Mac Utah County Basketball Players of the Week consists of Jeremiah Jensen and Sam Farnsworth from KSL Sports Live, Dane Stewart from KSL Sports Rewind, and Jake Hatch.
