BYU entered the week 14 matchup against UCF with slightly lower stakes after clinching a spot in the Big 12 title game before kickoff.
Still, they took care of business with a convincing 41-21 win over the Knights. Quarterback Bear Bachmeier completed 21 of his 25 pass attempts for 289 yards and a touchdown. Running back LJ Martin took 22 carries for 95 yards and a hat trick of rushing scores.
After going down 14-0 in the first, the Cougars showed they can face adversity head-on and scored 38 points in the second and third quarters.

Similar to the week prior, Utah football got the result they wanted, but it wasn’t very pretty.
The Utes had just 10 points through the first three quarters, and a loss to the 5-6 Jayhawks seemed like a real possibility. However, they turned up the heat in the fourth quarter and tacked on 21 points to sail to a 31-21 victory.
The passing attack was what worked for Utah at Kansas. Quarterback Devon Dampier had 253 yards and three passing TDs.
It marked the eighth time the Kyle Whittingham-led Utes reached the 10-win mark in a season.

The Rest of The Big 12 Rankings
Once again, four Big 12 Conference schools are ranked in the week 15 AP Top 25, which was released Sunday.
Texas Tech still leads the pack, and entered the top five at No. 5. BYU and Utah follow the Red Raiders at No. 11 and No. 15. After beating the ASU Sun Devils, Arizona entered the fold at No. 22.
Other schools in the league received votes but didn’t quite make the rankings. Iowa State (4 votes, No. 33) and Arizona State (3 votes, No. 34) were shown some love by voters.
