SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Boston Bruins and the St. Louis Blues are set to face off in the Stanley Cup Finals and that spells drama for fans of The Office.
Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski, who played Pam and Jim, the co-workers turned married couple on the show, will be pitted against each other with hockey bragging rights on the line.
Krasinski hails from Boston and is a noted Bruins fan while Fischer was raised in St. Louis and was recently captured sharing her Blues pride on the team’s social media.

That prompted Krasinski to issue a tweet in response that read “Uh no…”

The Office, starring an ensemble cast that included Fischer, Krasinski, Steve Carell, Ed Helms and Rainn Wilson, among others, aired on NBC from 2005-13. While it was highly regarded during its original time on the air, the show has taken on a new life thanks largely to its availability on Netflix. According to NBC, The Office is the most viewed show on the streaming platform.
The Stanley Cup Finals will begin with Game 1 on Monday at 6 p.m. and be broadcast on KSL. The Bruins will be looking for their first Cup since 2011 while the Blues are seeking their first title in their 52-year history.
