Adidas Releasing Star Wars Edition Of Mitchell, Lillard Shoes

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Images of the next version of Donovan Mitchell’s Adidas shoes have been leaked online, revealing not only a new D.O.N. Issue #1 but an entire line of shoes with a Star Wars theme. It’s not just the Jazz star, either. Former Weber State standout Damian Lillard’s shoes will also be released with the same theme.
The sportswear company plans to release a Star Wars colorway of D.O.N Issue #1 and Dame 5 shoes according to SneakerNews.com.
Mitchell and Lillard’s signature kicks will reportedly come out in “Lightsaber” versions on November 1.

Donovan Mitchell’s Shoes
The Jazz guard teased the upcoming release via his Instagram account on Friday, October 18.

Mitchell’s shoes will be “fully on the light side with blues harking to one of the most common within the entire order.”
The shoes will come in Core Black, Hi-Res Aqua, and Silver Metallic colors.

Mitchell has worn multiple unreleased versions of his shoes including a “Team USA” version during the FIBA World Cup and a “Mailman” purple mountain version that pays homage to Jazz legend, Karl Malone.

Adidas has released five colorways of Mitchell’s shoes.
The first edition to go on a sale was a red/blue Spider-Man version.
Subsequent Iron Spider, Stealth Spider-Man, Symbiote Spider-Man, and black-white-gold colorways have been released for sale.

Damian Lillard’s Shoes
According to Sneaker News, Adidas’ “Star Wars collaborations with a new line of Hoops silhouettes fully drawing inspiration from the weapons of Sith and Jedi alike as well as a slew of bad guys and heroes. An homage with every colorway, each is set to start the month of November with a bang as notables like the Dame 5, Harden Vol. 4, Don Issue, Crazy 1, D Rose 10, and Pro Next take on schemes just in time for the latest episode’s debut.”
Lillard’s shoes will “hark to the colors of…Yoda.”
