Donovan Mitchell Finishes Three-Point Contest Tied For Fourth

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell finished the NBA All-Star Three-Point Contest tied for fourth place in his first appearance in the event.
Donovan Mitchell recorded 22 points in his first round of the three-point contest in his career. He tied with Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine. Mitchell’s teammate Mike Conley, along with Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry reached the final.
Stephen Curry beat Mike Conley in the final by one point after hitting the money ball on his last shot, trailing by one before the make.

The NBA added two balls from 23-feet out from deep, one basketball per rack.
Rack 1 (left corner): Made his first two shots, missed third ball, made the fourth shot and missed the money ball.
Rack 2 (left angle): This rack was full of money balls. Made first shot, missed next two, made fourth ball and missed the fifth shot.
Dew Rack (left side): Missed
Rack 3 (top): Made first three balls, missed the fourth one and made the money ball.
Dew Rack (right side): Missed
Rack 4 (right angle): Missed first shot, hit the next four, including the money ball.
Rack 5 (right corner): Made the first shot, missed the second and ended the round with three straight makes, including the money ball.
