Kyle Van Noy Announces He’s Rejoining New England Patriots

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU linebacker Kyle Van Noy announced that he is rejoining the New England Patriots.

Van Noy shared the news via social media on Wednesday, March 17.
After signing with the Miami Dolphins a year ago, the former BYU star is reuniting with the organization he helped win a pair of Super Bowl rings with.

Van Noy played for the Patriots from 2016-2019.
During the four-year stretch, New England won two Super Bowl titles.

About Kyle Van Noy
After a standout career at BYU, Van Noy was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Following two and a half seasons with Detroit, the linebacker was traded to New England.
In Van Noy’s 3.5 seasons with the Patriots, he recorded 221 total tackles, 154 solo tackles, 16.5 sacks, 21 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, nine pass breakups, two interceptions, and two touchdowns in 51 games.

Van Noy signed a four-year deal with the Dolphins as a free agent in 2020.
He was released by Miami prior to the start of free agency in March.
During his seven seasons, Van Noy has recorded 358 total tackles, 246 solo tackles, 23.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and 16 pass breakups in 95 games.
