SALT LAKE CITY – Utah State starting quarterback Logan Bonner left the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl Game after sustaining a knee injury in the first half.

The Aggies played the Oregon State Beavers at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday, December 18.

With 1:45 left in the first quarter, Bonner completed a 10-yard pass to Carson Terrell before USU punted the ball on the following play.

During his time on the field, Bonner became Utah State’s single-season leader in passing yards.

Bonner was replaced at QB by Cooper Legas on the Aggies’ next drive.

At halftime, the Aggies owned a 14-10 lead. During the break, USU head coach Blake Anderson said that Bonner would be questionable for the second half.

At the start of the third quarter, Bonner was no longer in uniform on the sideline.

The quarterback suffered a hyperextended knee earlier this season.

Before leaving the contest, the junior signal-caller was 6/10 passing for 68 yards and an interception.

Bonner entered the postseason game having thrown for 3,560 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions this season.

The LA Bowl between Utah State and Oregon State is broadcast on ABC and The Zone Sports Network.
