SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU running back Tyler Allgeier had to wait longer than many expected to hear his name called in the 2022 NFL draft. But once the Atlanta Falcons drafted him with pick No. 151, the reactions started to roll in for the ball carrier who led college football in rushing touchdowns in 2021.

Allgeier’s slide ended up working out okay as he goes to an Atlanta Falcons franchise that will pose an immediate opportunity to play.
