Utah Valley Crushes SAGU American Indian College For Fourth Straight Win

OREM, Utah – The Utah Valley Wolverines won their fourth straight game after a dominating 100-54 win over SAGU American Indian College on Tuesday night.
It was all Utah Valley from the jump as they outscored SAGU American Indian College 54-22 in the first half and 46-32 in the second half.
Justin Harmon led the way with 19 points and five rebounds, matching his season-high in points. Aziz Bandaogo notched his sixth double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds on 5-of-8 shooting from the field.
Tim Fuller dropped 13 points and six rebounds, while Cam Alford also scored 13 points off the bench. Jaden McClanahan chipped in 10 points and five assists in 16 minutes. Le’Tre Darthard and Tahj Small each scored nine points in the win.
As a team, Utah Valley shot 49% from the field, 29% from the three-point line, and 75% at the free-throw line. They outrebounded SAGU American Indian College 47-35, while committing just 10 turnovers and forcing 20 miscues. UVU dominated the paint 48-22 and scored 35 points off of turnovers. The Wolverines also scored a lot of fastbreak points with 41 and holding SAGU American Indian College to just six fastbreak points.

Utah Valley Has Two Non-Conference Games Remaining
SAGU American Indian College was led by Keyshawn Celestino-Clyde with 22 points and 12 rebounds on 8-of-18 shooting from the field and 3-for-7 from the three-point line. Micah Wilkerson added 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor.
As a team, they shot 35% from the field, 25% from beyond the arc, and 41% at the free-throw line.
Utah Valley improved its record to 7-4 on the season. They have wins over Western Colorado, Northern Arizona twice, Green Bay, Long Beach State, BYU, and SAGU American Indian College. Their losses came against Utah State, Wake Forest, Morgan State, and Boise State.
UVU will have two more non-conference games before jumping into WAC play. They will return to the UCCU Center on Friday, December 16 to face Antelope Valley at 6:00 p.m. MT on ESPN+. Then they will head to Eugene to face the Oregon Ducks on Tuesday, December 20 at 8:30 p.m. MT on the Pac-12 Network.
