NFL Scouting Combine: Clark Phillips III Discusses What He’ll Bring To Next Level

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes cornerback Clark Phillips talked about what he’ll bring to a team at the next level during his media session at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine.
The Combine takes place from February 27-March 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
During the event, Phillips answered questions from the media and discussed what he believes he will bring to the NFL franchise that drafts him.
“Consistency, hard work, and dedication,” Phillips listed. “I’m gonna try to be the best cornerback on the roster.

The former Utah standout dismissed concerns about his size. Phillips said the only things he worries about are confidence, preparation, and God.
“Imma line up and play,” Phillips told the media.

“I’m a ferocious, nasty, relentless, smart-nasty ballhawk,” Phillips added.

A day after his comments, the former Utah defensive back participated in a series of on-field drills.

Phillips is currently projected as a first or second round pick in mock drafts.
