Wagner Scores A Long Touchdown, Weddle Honors Utah Teammate’s Son With Cleats

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah State linebacker Bobby Wagner had a terrific game on Sunday, scoring a 98-yard interception return. While that was going on in the West Coast, former Ute great Eric Weddle gave a special shoutout to one of his former teammates after his Ravens won on Sunday.

Brian Allen – Steelers (7-4-1)
Allen played in 19 special teams snaps in Steelers’ heartbreaking 33-30 loss to the Chargers on Sunday Night Football.

Zane Beadles – Falcons (4-8)

Bergstrom is listed as questionable for Monday’s game at Philadelphia.

Garett Bolles – Broncos (6-6)
Bolles got the start and took every snap at left tackle for the Broncos in a 24-10 win over the Bengals.

Devontae Booker – Broncos (6-6)
The former Ute running back had one rushing attempt for four yards and made two catches for two yards in the Broncos’ win over Cincinnati.

Kylie Fitts – Bears (8-4)
Fitts played in six special teams plays in the Bears’ narrow 30-27 loss to the Giants.

Dominique Hatfield – Rams (11-1)
The former Utah defensive back and Los Angeles native played in 24 special teams plays in the Rams’ 30-16 win over the Lions in Detroit.

Star Lotulelei – Bills (4-8)
Lotulelei made two solo tackles in the Bills’ 21-17 loss to the Dolphins.

Tim Patrick – Broncos (6-6)
Patrick had zero targets in 21 offensive plays while also playing in 19 special teams snaps in Denver’s 24-10 win over the Bengals.

Sam Tevi – Chargers (9-3)
Tevi got the start at the right tackle and played every snap in the Chargers’ dramatic 33-30 win over the Steelers in prime time. On the Chargers’ first touchdown, a deep pass from Philip Rivers to Travis Benjamin, it appeared that Tevi jumped early, but no flag was thrown.

Eric Weddle – Ravens (7-5)
Weddle had two solo tackles and a pass deflection in the Ravens’ 26-16 win over the Falcons. As part of the NFL’s My Cleats My Cause program, Weddle wore special cleats honoring the memory of Hayes Tate, the late son of Weddle’s former Utah teammate, Steve Tate. Weddle even gave Tate a shoutout in his postgame interview before heading home to enjoy another victory bowl of ice cream.

Marcus Williams – Saints (10-2)
Williams made two solo tackles in the Saints’ surprising 13-10 loss to the Cowboys on Thursday.

Maurice Alexander – Seahawks (7-5)
Alexander made two solo tackles in the Seahawks’ 43-16 blowout of the 49ers.

Kyler Fackrell – Packers (4-7-1)
Fackrell got his third straight start at outside linebacker and made two assisted tackles in the Packers’ 20-17 upset loss to the Cardinals.

Nevin Lawson – Lions (4-8)
Lawson started at cornerback and tied his season high in tackles with five combined takedowns in the Lions’ loss to the Rams.

Tyler Larsen – Panthers (6-6)
Larsen played in 45 offensive snaps on the offensive line in the Panthers’ 24-17 loss to the Buccaneers.

Patrick Scales – Bears (8-4)
Scales executed 12 special teams snaps and even made a special teams tackle in the Bears’ loss to the Giants.

Nick Vigil – Bengals (5-7)
Vigil made two solo tackles and scooped up a fumble in his first game back from injury since Week 6. The Bengals lost to Denver 24-10.

Bobby Wagner – Seahawks (7-5)
Wagner had his best game of the season in a 43-16 blowout win over the 49ers. He made 12 combined tackles, including two for a loss as well as a team-record 98-yard interception return for a touchdown. In addition, he also forced and recovered a fumble.

Ziggy Ansah – Lions (4-8)
Ansah made just his second start of the season at defensive end and had a hit on quarterback Jared Goff in the Lions’ loss to the Rams.

Michael Davis – Chargers (9-3)
Davis started at cornerback and made one solo tackle and had a pass deflection in the Chargers’ thrilling win over the Steelers.

John Denney – Dolphins (6-6)
Denney made 10 special teams snaps in the Dolphins’ win over the Bills.

Taysom Hill – Saints (10-2)
Hill was in on seven offensive plays but didn’t carry or throw the ball once for the Saints. He did however, made two kick returns for 47 yards in the Saints’ loss to the Cowboys on Thursday.

Daniel Sorensen – Chiefs (10-2)

Kyle Van Noy – Patriots (9-3)
Van Noy started at outside linebacker and made five combined tackles in the Patriots’ 24-10 win over the Vikings.

Fred Warner – 49ers (2-10)
Warner made eight combined tackles in the 49ers’ blowout loss to the Seahawks.

Jamaal Williams – Packers (4-7-1)
The former Cougar running back was all over the stat sheet in the Packers’ loss to Arizona. Williams had seven rushes for 13 yards, caught four passes for four yards and had three kick returns for a total of 72 yards in the loss to the Cardinals.
