Three Utahns Make List Of Eligible Players For NWSL Draft

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The National Women’s Soccer List released a preliminary list of eligible players for the 2019 College Draft with three women from Utah on the list.
The eligible players from Utah include Amelia Fullmer, from Pleasant Grove, who played college soccer at Lamar University and Iowa Western Community, Hailey Skolmoski North, from Riverton, who played at the University of Utah and Brittany Terry from St. George, who played at Concordia University-Irvine and Grambling State.
Fullmer earned second-team All-Southland Conference honors as a defender at Lamar in 2017. She also set the school record with 2,000 minutes played, missing only 90 minutes of action in the season. Her home club was Utah Celtic FC.

North was honored as the Utah women’s soccer program’s first ever first team All-Pac 12 selection in 2016. She also was named to the U.S. U-23 women’s national team. Her home club was the Utah Avalanche.

Terry also played on the Avalanche. Collegiately, she suited up for Concordia University-Irvine before transferring to Grambling State after two years.

The Utah Royals FC does not possess a first or second round pick in the draft and have their first crack at drafting an eligible player with the 23rd overall selection in the third round.
The 2019 NWSL College Draft will take place on January 10 at 10 a.m. in Chicago.
