SANDY, Utah – Sam Johnson showed just how fast he is in the 37th minute of Real Salt Lake’s game against the Columbus Crew on Wednesday night.
Aaron Herrera provided the setup, a long ball over the top of the Columbus defense, and Johnson split two defenders with pure speed and slotted the ball into the net, giving RSL a 1-0 lead.
The goal is Johnson’s eighth of the season with Real Salt Lake. He joined the club in February of 2019 as a designated player.
