Sweet Victory: Former Ute Eric Weddle Has An Ice Cream Incentive In His Contract

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Eric Weddle signed a 2-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams this offseason. According to a story from the LA Times, Weddle’s new contract has an ice cream with the kids clause.
For those of you that are unaware, Weddle does not intake any sugar during game weeks. Although, if his team wins, he devours copious amounts of ice cream with his family when he gets home to celebrate the win.
“My kids know when we get home after games it’s like ‘Ice cream! Ice cream! Ice cream!'” Weddle said. “They know what’s up.”

The clause in his contract is unclear, although it is reported to be called the “Brooklyn, Gaige, Silver & Kamri’s Ice Cream Sundays Incentive.”
The Ravens went 10-6 last season, meaning Weddle had 10 big, sweet and sugary bowls of ice cream.
The Rams are predicted to win a lot of games with star players Jared Goff and Todd Gurley returning on offense and pre-season signings of Eric Weddle and Clay Mathews who are expected to have a big impact on what was already a loaded defense.
Weddle could be indulging in a large number of ice cream bowls this season, maybe some extra running after practice will be required to make sure he maintains his goal weight.
