RSL’s Damir Kreilach Scores Easy Header On Great Pass By Corey Baird

VANCOUVER, B.C. – Real Salt Lake forward Damir Kreilach scored an easy goal in the first half to give RSL a 1-0 lead against the Vancouver Whitecaps in the regular season finale.

The goal came in the 29th minute when forward Corey Baird was given the ball on the left side of the field from midfielder Kyle Beckerman, who served the ball deep into the box and Kreilach put his head on in and into the back of the net.

It’s the sixth goal of the season for Kreilach and the Baird picked up his fourth assist in 2019.

RSL is fighting for a top four spot in the Western Conference standings, which would have them host a first round playoff match.

– Minnesota wins and LA Galaxy wins … RSL finishes 4th and hosts Seattle
– Minnesota wins and LA Galaxy loses or draws … RSL finishes 3rd and hosts Portland, Dallas or San Jose

– Portland wins … RSL finishes 3rd and hosts Portland
– Portland loses or draws and San Jose wins or draws and Dallas wins … RSL finishes 3rd and hosts Dallas
– Portland loses or draws and San Jose wins and Dallas loses or draws … RSL finishes 3rd and hosts San Jose
