Reddit Sorts NBA Players Into Hogwarts Houses, Including Some Jazzmen

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – NBA Reddit is using the time without NBA games brilliantly with a post that sorts current NBA players into Hogwarts houses.
I will start with explaining Hogwarts and the four Houses for those who aren’t big Harry Potter fans.

Hogwarts is the wizarding school Harry Potter and his friends attend. When young wizards are 11-years-old they receive an invitation to attend the magical academy for the next seven years of their lives.
New wizards show up to the school on a magic train called the Hogwarts Express. Upon arrival, they are sorted into a House – kind of like a family to spend the next seven years with.
A magic hat called the Sorting Hat places students in one of four houses depending on personality traits, family history, personal wants/needs, etc.

The four House of Hogwarts are: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and Hufflepuff. The traits of the houses are described below:
- Gryffindor: Courage, chivalry, bravery, daring, nerve and determination. The symbol of Gryffindor is a Lion.
- Ravenclaw: Intelligence, wit, wisdom, creativity, originality, individuality, acceptance and sharpness. The symbol of Ravenclaw is an Eagle.
- Slytherin: Resourcefulness, cunning, ambition, determination, leadership, self-preservation, fraternity and lineage. The symbol of Slytherin is a Serpent.
- Hufflepuff: Diligence, dedication, fairness, patience, kindness, tolerance, modesty and loyalty. The symbol of Hufflepuff is a Badger.
The two most prominent Houses in the Harry Potter series are Gryffindor and Slytherin. The three main characters, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, are Gryffindors. Both the main villain, Voldemort, and the sub-villains, are Slytherins.

Sorting NBA Players Into Hogwarts Houses
Ok, now that you have learned about the Houses of Hogwarts, let’s see where our Utah Jazz players ended up, according to NBA Reddit.
Donovan Mitchell – Gryffindor
It comes as no surprise that Utah Jazz fan-favorite Donovan Mitchell is a Gryffindor (the fan-favorite of Hogwarts houses).
I forgot to mention above, each Hogwarts House has a House ghost. The ghost of NBA Gryffindor is Kevin Garnett and was founded by Bill Russell.
Other notable Gryffindors on the list include – Russell Westbrook, Damian Lillard, LeBron James and Ja Morant.
It should be noted that Mitchell is coming off the bench for Gryffindor alongside Zion Williamson.
Rudy Gobert – Hufflepuff
Rudy Gobert was sorted into Hufflepuff by NBA Twitter. NBA Hufflepuff was founded by Wilt Chamberlin and their ghost is Shaquille O’Neale.
Other notable Hufflepuffs include – Anthony Davis, Kemba Walker, Karl Anthony-Towns and Kevin Love.
Gobert is also coming off of the bench.
No Jazzmen were sorted into Slytherin or Ravenclaw.
