Real Salt Lake Eager To Make Amends Versus Vancouver Whitecaps This Weekend

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Tomorrow night will mark the first time Real Salt Lake return to the pitch following an embarrassing 5-0 loss to the Colorado Rapids a week ago.
The match tomorrow evening will be against the Vancouver Whitecaps, a team that RSL should beat if they play like they normally do at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Currently, Vancouver sits in 11th position in the Western Conference, just one spot and one point above the conferences worst team the San Jose Earthquakes.
The Caps have played twice since RSL last played. They were beaten by Montreal 4-2 on Sunday, September 13th but bounced back with a midweek victory against Montreal 3-1.
RSL will be well-rested and eager to get back on track in their quest to qualify for the MLS playoffs. They currently sit in ninth in the Western Conference but just one point from climbing back into the playoff picture. The Western Conference is tightly contested. The separation from the conference leaders, Sporting Kansas City, and RSL is just six points.
Players To Watch
Vancouver has a number of players that are capable of scoring goals. Their current goal-scoring leader is Cristian Dájome who has three goals next to his name. Underneath Dájome sits Fredy Montero and Jake Jake Nerwinski who both have two goals.

RSL and Vancouver will kick things off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 19th at Rio Tinto Stadium.
