Browns Linebacker Sione Takitaki Scores First NFL Touchdown On Pick-Six

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current Cleveland Browns linebacker Sione Takitaki scored the first touchdown of his NFL career on a pick-six during a game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Browns hosted the Eagles on Sunday, November 22.
With 13:35 left in the second quarter, Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz was picked off by Takitaki on a pass intended for Miles Sanders.
The former BYU linebacker returned the ball 50 yards for a house call and his first NFL touchdown.

Takitaki’s pick and touchdown gave the Browns a 7-0 lead.
The former Cougar standout is currently in the middle of his second NFL season, both with Cleveland.
That @STakitaki pick-six was the first of his career and the first by a Browns LB since Karlos Dansby in 2015. His 50-yard return for a touchdown is longest by an NFL linebacker in 2020 and is tied for the second longest pick-six overall.

On the season, Takitaki has 42 total tackles and 26 solo tackles.
He owns careers stats of 63 total tackles, 40 solo tackles.
