Donovan Mitchell Keeps Tweeting At The Uno People

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Donovan Mitchell doesn’t know the rules to UNO. That is to say, the Utah Jazz guard continues to get schooled on the official rules of UNO by the game makers themselves.
On Monday night, the Jazz All-Star tweeted at the official UNO account asking whether a player had to announce “uno out” when playing their final card after a “heated debate” with his family. Just hours later, @realUNOgame replied.
“While calling “UNO Out” when you play your last card is a popular House Rule,” UNO replied, “it’s not required.”

Mitchell went as far as to poll his nearly 900,000 followers on Twitter about the rules of the game. 62 percent of the 56,000 who voted agreed with Mitchell that you have to declare “uno out” when playing your final card, while 38 percent disagreed.
“I know it’s your game and all but this is the incorrect answer,” Mitchell responded to UNO’s ruling.
This isn’t the first time Mitchell used his large social media following to talk directly to the game makers at UNO.
In September, the third-year guard asked UNO if he could place a “Draw 4” ard over a “Draw 2” card.

Once again, UNO clarified the rules for Mitchell.
“No stacking,” the game makers clapped back. “Unless you’re playing House Rules.”
Though the guard may be struggling with the UNO rules, it’s been a good offseason for the Jazzman. On Sunday, Mitchell agreed to a five-year $193 million extension with the team.
