Utah RB Ty Jordan Helps Tie Game Against Washington State With Big Run On Fourth Down

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah running back Ty Jordan helped the Utes tied the game against the Washington State Cougars on a fourth-down run.

The Utes hosted the Cougars at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, December 19.

With 12:01 left in the game, the Utes went for it on 4th & 1 at the Washington State 33-yard line.

Ty Jordan ran the ball and bounced it outside before sprinting down the sideline for a 33-yard touchdown.

After a Jadon Redding extra point kick, the Utes tied the Cougars at 28 apiece.

Jordan’s rush was Utah’s third unanswered score of the second half.

It was Jordan’s second touchdown run of the game.

After the score, the freshman running back had 16 carries for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

He also had one catch for 27 yards.

Utah’s opening touchdown of the game came during the second quarter on a 91-yard touchdown pass from Jake Bentley to Britain Covey.

The first touchdown of the second half for the Utes came during the third quarter on a five-yard touchdown run by Ty Jordan.

Late in the quarter, wide receiver Bryan Thompson scored on a nine-yard run.
