Jordan Clarkson Converts Four-Point Play Late In First Quarter Against Blazers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson converted a four-point play late in the first quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Jordan Clarkson was fouled on a three-point attempt with 4.1 seconds left in the first quarter as the Jazz hosted the Trail Blazers. Clarkson hit the three-pointer and was fouled by former Weber State star Damian Lillard.

The Jazz sixth man hit the free throw to complete the four-point play to give them a 31-24 lead at the end of the first quarter.

None of the Jazz players reached double figures in the first quarter but 9 players appeared with six scoring. Clarkson led the way with 8 points off the bench. That three he made late in the first quarter extended his consecutive three-pointer streak to 92 games, which is the fifth longest streak in NBA history. Georges Niang and Rudy Gobert each added 6 points.

For Portland, Lillard finished the opening period with 11 points.

The Jazz wrapped up the home portion of their regular season schedule. They will play their final two games of the regular season on the road beginning with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, May 14 at 6 p.m. MDT on AT&T SportsNet.
